As Manager EH&S, you will mentor a team of safety and environmental professionals responsible for the development and implementation of safety and environmental programs. You will ensure regulatory compliance and handle physical risk of business operations. Experience in the energy industry, with a broad natural gas gathering, processing and transmission emphasis is plus!

Responsibilities/Expectations:
  • Develops and monitors performance metrics for safety and environmental programs and workforce enterprise performance
  • Ensures safety and environmental programs are crafted and implemented based upon regulatory requirements and needs of business
  • Guarantees safety and environmental processes are clearly defined and communicated to the enterprise; provides metrics and reporting to leaders
  • Ensures business operations is trained in all safety and environmental related programs, processes, and procedures
  • Maintains positive relationships with regulatory agencies and company partners to build awareness, create an understanding around compliance and influence decision makers
  • Coordinates workforce planning and career development activities for team members
  • Develops expense plan and forecasts; conducts regular cost analysis
  • Other duties as assigned
Education/Years of Experience:
  • Required: Bachelor's degree in safety and environmental Management, Business, Engineering, or related field and minimum seven (7) years' in the energy industry and minimum of five (5) years' supervisory/management experience
  • Preferred: License or certification in Engineering, Project Management or Environmental field
  • Preferred: Minimum of five (5) years' experience in the EHS functional areas
Other Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
