NERC Compliance & Training Coordinator
Southern Illinois Power Cooperative (SIPC), a generation and transmission electric cooperative located and operated in southern Illinois, is seeking an individual for the position of NERC Compliance & Training Coordinator. The location is south of Marion, Illinois at the Lake of Egypt. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in business, science, or engineering and three years of previous electrical utility experience. The applicant must possess exceptional technical writing and communication skills and must be able to obtain NERC System Operator Certification.
Duties and responsibilities for the position include but are not limited to: support the implementation and on-going coordination of SIPC’s framework for compliance with NERC and RRO reliability standards, administer programs to ensure a culture of compliance, function as a subject matter expert for internal and external audits, coordinate compliance training for SIPC and NERC certified system operators, etc.
