Job Duties: Under supervision of logistics manager, perform logistics engineer duties, monitor, analyze, and evaluate data to optimize route efficiency and productivity, utilizing mathematical concepts and skills. Oversee flow of material information throughout the supply chain. Interact with internal departments to maximize efficiency and value from load planning and routing decisions. Oversee assigned customer accounts and associated operations staff. Requires: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or closely-related field; 2 years’ experience in a logistics engineering position; and a demonstrated knowledge of: compiling, processing and analyzing data using complex algorithms; mathematical concepts and identification of optimal data points; and planning and implementing business strategies; OR Master’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or closely-related field, and a demonstrated knowledge of: compiling, processing and analyzing data using complex algorithms; mathematical concepts and identification of optimal data points; and planning and implementing business strategies. Travel (20%) to RTI work locations in Kansas City, KS and N. Little Rock, AR for periodic assignments and training.
