Electrical Supervisor- Ferris State University. Responsible for the 7200 volt distribution system. Supervise and coordinate work activities of the Electrical Department engaged in assembly, installation and repair of equipment related to electrical operations. Maintenance and renovation of University facilities including but not limited to, distribution systems, battery systems, emergency lighting systems, preventative maintenance, generators, etc. Serve as project manager providing oversight for contracted and in-house construction and renovation projects. Oversight and responsibility for campus conveyance systems (i.e., elevators, lifts, etc.) Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent. State of Michigan Master Electrician license. Valid driver's license. Five years of experience in the electrical field with quantifiable experience in industrial, commercial, residential and maintenance work. Demonstrated work experience in medium and high voltage electrical distribution maintenance/repairs, maintenance frequency, procedures, etc. Three years of supervisory experience directly related to the electrical trade with emphasis on high voltage and distribution systems.
