CIVIL ENGINEER
Cape May Court House, NJ (on-site)/Full-time, 35 hours per week, Monday – Friday
$96,432 - $146,039
The Cape May County Municipal Utilities Authority owns & operates a regional wastewater system comprised of 25 pumping stations, over 50 mi. of force mains, 4 treatment plants & a regional solid waste system comprised of a transfer station, landfill & recycling center.
We are seeking a Civil Engineer to join our team and lead a variety of engineering projects from inception to completion.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing design, specifications, and final plans.
- Collaborating with internal teams, municipalities, and external consultants/contractors and overseeing field construction.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree and at least 10 years’ experience.
- NJ Professional Engineer’s license or the ability to obtain same within 12 months.
- It is preferred that candidates have a strong background in structural engineering with a working knowledge of hydraulic, environmental and site engineering.
- Management experience is a plus.
Salary commensurate with experience & excellent benefit package. Must reside in New Jersey or attain residency in one year.
