Position Purpose: This position is responsible for the research, development and execution of discovery and maintaining customers and opportunities related to all Dakota Gasification Company’s saleable products globally and domestically, with specific emphasis on chemical and gas products; and for development and implementation of business, marketing, and sales plans that increase profitability and expand diversification. This position is also responsible for generating leads, negotiating contracts, assessing new product lines, evaluating supply chains, and making recommendations to sales and marketing leadership.

Qualifications: To perform effectively in this position, the incumbent must have knowledge of marketing and sales, particularly knowledge of the DGC chemicals, petroleum refining, petrochemical products, gaseous products, and/or rare gases which is acquired through the of completion of a four year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering degree from an Engineering Accreditation Commission/Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (EAC/ABET) accredited engineering program, or a related field, and two years of related marketing, sales, or trading experience. The incumbent must also have the ability to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to multi-task. This position will travel potentially up to 50 percent of the time by car or Cooperativeommercial plane. Proficiency with personal computers and Microsoft Office is also required. The incumbent must possess a valid driver’s license.

Typical Physicalental/Environmental Demands: This position requires frequent sitting, and standing talking; and occasional reaching below and above shoulder level, use of keyboard computer, bending reaching, kneeling, lifting carrying up to 10 pounds, and pushing pulling up to 20 pounds. It also requires finger dexterity and hand coordination. This position requires good hearing and vision, and the ability to speak. It also requires the ability to develop plans, procedures and goals; present information to others; and work under stress to complete projects within deadlines. Travel is required.
